Are you looking for ways to make a positive impact on our planet, in your neighborhood, and/or in your household? Consider joining me in the Northwest Earth Institute's Eco-Challenge 2016. The Challenge takes place October 14-28. Experts theorize that it takes 2 weeks to change a habit. Would you be willing to challenge yourself to take action for those two weeks in October to bring about sustainable environmental benefits? Your small deeds inspire others to do their part creating a chain of change. I am seeking team members, but feel free to join as a single participant or as a member of other teams that have formed. The bigger picture is what's important. Challenges include waste reduction, transportation alternatives, water & energy conservation, community advocacy, food sustainability, nature preservation, simple living, or you can get creative designing your unique program. Participants and teams earn points for recording challenge activities, thoughts, and photos, recruiting more participants, and completing your profile.
